Get the last of the Commemorative Shirts while they last!

If you were unable to attend the "Classic" last month, you can still support the event by purchasing a commemorative jersey or t-shirt.

There are a limited number and sizes of the t-shirts and jerseys.  The jersey price is $35 and t-shirts for $15 which includes the shipping.  The jerseys are reversible, and the  t-shirts come in either Black or Blue.  This was an limited edition design and we'll be selling them first come, first serve - when they gone that's it - no more.  If interested they can email CairoILAlumni@gmail.com with your name, phone number, which one they want - jersey or t-shirt (color - Black or Blue), quantity, and size (jerseys - x-large and t-shirts - med, large, and x-large.

You can also pay via paypal using our email address for payee or visit our NFP donation link at http://cairoilalumni.bbnow.org/donate.php

If paying by check, you will receive a confirmation email and we'll mail your order once we receive your check or money order, payable to the Cairo High School Alumni Association.   All instructions and mailing address will be provided via email.

What happening in Cairo!

The Cairo High School Alumni Association would like to give a sincere thank you to all that were able to participate in last weekend's “Old Timer’s Classic Benefit Basketball Game” held at the C.K. Cole Gymnasium.  It was a great success.  We would like to acknowledge and thank Dwayne Ross (’78) for his tireless efforts to conceptualize and help bring this event to fruition.  Alumni, friends, and family filled the gym and a number of former coaches returned to support their former players as both women and men played three games of competitive basketball each night.  Beaming with Pilot Pride, we recognized all the alumni athletes in attendance during half-time of the championship game.

This event shows what a united community can do in support of the local youth.  An investment in our youth is an investment in our future.  Funds raised from this event will allow us to present our first scholarship award of $1000 to a graduating senior next month, and we’ll be donating $2000 to the CHS Girl’s Basketball Program for the acquisition of new uniforms.

Our goal is to funnel funds back to the students and programs at Cairo High School.  We hope that you see the value in the projects our team takes on and continue to be a supporter when possible for future activities.

Stay tuned for pics and highlights from the tournament.
